Habitat for Humanity of the Nature Coast, which now serves Citrus and Levy counties, is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry who seeks to put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, neighborhoods, and hope. We work to eliminate substandard housing for people of all backgrounds, races, and religions by providing simple, decent, affordable housing to those who have a need, ability to pay and willingness to partner.
Habitat for Humanity of the Nature Coast is proud to announce the expansion of our service area into Levy County, allowing us to bring our mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter to even more families in our region.
For more than three decades, Habitat for Humanity of the Nature Coast has worked alongside volunteers, donors, and community partners to help local families achieve the dream of safe, affordable homeownership. Our work in Inverness, Crystal River, Homosassa, Hernando, and Citrus Springs has steadily grown over the years, creating lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Thanks to the support of benefactors, churches, businesses, and civic organizations, we proudly marked our 32nd anniversary in 2025 and are on track to complete our 300th home build by Summer 2026.
