Habitat for Humanity of the Nature Coast is a community-focused nonprofit that believes everyone deserves a safe, affordable home.

Since 1993, we’ve been on a mission to build homes, neighborhoods, and hope. From our long-standing work in Citrus County—including Inverness, Crystal River, Homosassa, Hernando, and Citrus Springs—to our new expansion into Levy County, we partner with families to turn the dream of homeownership into a reality.

Our “sweat equity” model ensures that families are active participants in building their own futures alongside our dedicated volunteers. Your support is an investment in a stronger, more resilient community for all.

This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
